I am one the biggest fan of Apple Products, but recently some leaks disappoint us, that apple is going to release their world ugliest phone ever they make. I definitely will not buy this ugly iPhone with Three Camera setup and think like me most the people will not buy. Apple should change their strategy to develop a new design, new hardware, New Display technology to bet with other's company. Another thing as per my guess, Apple is going to make their own Bank and within 2025 they will be a Bank owner. Developing a new device is not their concern right now. The hints came from Apple Card.

Oh boy, I surely hope that the leaks are far from the truth.

If you calm down for a second and think, Apple is making a very safe bet.

The square triple camera setup has been extremely successful with Huawei products, especially Mate 20 series. It's the reason why they've been able to grow by double digits in Europe.

Apple isn't blazing into unknown territory. It's not innovative, but it is a classic Tim Cook move.

there will be a pro version when iPhones come this Sep

Definitely not. Every year it’s addressed that a ‘Pro’ version of the iPhone will debut and it never happens. Why? Because there’s nothing ‘Pro’ about a smart phone, not when its primary function is a communication device first.

I agree that an iPhone is a poor choice for a pro designation. I actually meant my post as a snarky joke. I put a smiley on it.

But on the same token, should an iPad be labeled pro?

If you consider from the perspective that Pro means productivity, the iPad Pro deserves the name - first with the Pencil and now the ability to drive external monitors and import from external storage via USB-C.

... which has nothing to do with the iPhone. It’s a Completely separate entity and product. But yes, the ‘Pro’ moniker is fitting for a device like the iPad, because it does allow for more external productivity features. The iPhones primary focus is one thing and one thing only, it’s a communication device. For more Productivity purposes, obviously the iPad and MacBook are different formulations in that respect.

If they have a three camera setup, you will be amazed at how amazingly wrong you are. I mean, you may not buy one, but the assertion that 'most [..] people will not buy [one]' is so far from the truth. A huge percentage of people that purchase iPhones do so because of their functionality, their quality, and how they tie seamlessly with the rest of their ecosystem. People wailed about the glass or the not glass, about the antenna bands, about the 'sharp' edges on the 4/5 era phones, about the camera bump, and about the notch. And yet, in every case, they sold them by the boatload.

Personally, I don't see a three camera design as being ugly and frankly, I wouldn't care if it was. I'm far more interested in the functionality 3 lenses get us. I'll be upgrading, as will my wife, as will, I expect, many millions of other folks.

I think the "3 camera setup" looks quite good and I'm definitely buying one. Hell, I might even get the Midnight Green!

sadly, you were mistaken.

iPhone Pro.

I’m getting the Pro over the 11 for the screen alone. I don’t care about anything else that is “pro” over the base model.

Last year I looked at a XR and to my eyes it was grainy and not as bright. Since they didn’t change the resolution I have no choice but to go with the pro. It’s a shame though because I’d like to save that $300. Oh well.

I am.. but that 64GB for Pro storage is a joke.

how? I mean.. I guess you don’t have much on it?

Google photos is my best friend. Once they get uploaded there I use the duplicate feature and allow google to delete them off of my phone. Other than photos and videos I guess the other stuff doesn’t take up too much room.

Ah, if iCloud photos could keep most of the photos in the cloud, that would be nice

Currently using 18.5GB out of my 64GB XS Max. So thankfully I’m good to go.
I have 26GB free on my 64GB iPhone X, so going with another 64GB this year. I am planning to get an 11 this go around so an extra $50 for the space isn't a problem price wise. But I just don't think i'll need it, so don't want to waste the money.
