iPhone 11 Pro Iphone 11 or wait?

Talking to TMo yesterday, I can get an iPhone 11 Pro Max 256gb for $700 with trade in. I have been excited about the 12 with 5g etc but I started to think that maybe the 11 is a better choice for right now. The 12 doesn't really upgrade all that much and I am not sure how much I am going to like the square form factor vs the rounded edges. I might also just keep my 10s Max but I would like to have the wide angle camera. Thoughts and opinions?

Trade in of what phone? Might be better to wait another month because iPhone 11 Pro's will reportedly get discontinued so remaining stock will be way lower price.

I would be trading in my 10s Max 256gb.

Only comments about waiting are: 1. the major carriers usually pull anything but the base model of the previous phone from their lineup when the new one gets released, and 2. the trade in value will likely be decreased at this same time.

I buy my device when needed. I would always wait until the new model is introduced or released. It usually gives more options in the market.

You don't know if any of that is true until they actually announce what the next iPhone is/does.
