If someone doesn’t need the use of a pencil, can the iPhone 11 Pro Max replace an iPad Mini?

I guess....but why? You can buy a used iPad mini for peanuts compared to a 1100 iPhone pro max. Unless you really want pocket ability.

i wonder, hows the difference on the web between the max and the normal 5.8" display
you see more text or you see the same text but bigger?

It’s been pointed out many times on these forums already that the screen size of the 7.9” iPad Mini is in fact much bigger than the 6.5 Max due to the entirely different screen aspect ratio. Don’t remember the exact figure but it’s around 50% difference. Look it up.
