I just unboxed my iPhone 11 Pro Max...

I ordered the "silver" option, but the outside of the phone is a chitzy chrome finish.

Did they send me the correct phone???

It’s right, stainless steel frame with white matte finish on the back.

Deceptive product photos on Apple's website.

Wish I would have known that in advance?

Is there any other color scheme for the iPhone 11 Pro Max that does NOT have a chrome border?

I think the chrome looks chintzy, and it also draws attention which is a BAD thing since I use it for journalism...

I assumed that "silver" meant it would look lke my iPhone 6S Plus... :(:(:(

It wasn't obvious to me that the outside edge was chrome from the product photos on Apple's site...

Just exchange it for a different color. All of them have the shiny border, you’ll have to get a regular 11 if you don’t want the shiny border

There's plenty of YouTube videos of an 11 Pro Max in Silver. Poor research conducted on your end.

Um, I bought the iPhone from Apple, so why in the hell should I have to rely on non-Apple websites to tell me what an Apple product looks like?!

Whatever. I'm keeping it, but I don't like the chrome...

Get a case for it?

I hate cases, and use an iRing.

I'll just have to live with it...

Well, there's something to be said for seeing something in real life or as close to it as possible through real life videos of it as compared to seeing marketing staged photos or renderings.

Umm, you could have viewed the iPhone at your local store, or watched review videos like suggested because everybody knows Apple’s gallery pictures of the phones aren’t 100% identical compared to what you get in real life. Good luck next time champ.
