Ever since switching to the above phone from the X and changing to EE, I have low signal and only a few bars. Toggle airplane mode off and on and it’s back to full strength. Anyone know what might be going on?

You're on 13.3.1, right? Some people already reported problems with mobile signal and wifi.

The EE network could be parking your device on a higher LTE band as the primary carrier. This is extremely common in the US. Toggling airplane mode on/off temporarily will get you back onto a lower band (which could result in more signal bars). However, once the network sees your phone again, it’ll just bump you back up to a higher LTE band. This is done to better manage network traffic.

Two bars of high band LTE isn’t necessarily bad at all. You can have better network performance on 2 bars of high band LTE vs full bars of low band LTE.

However, if you are going from full signal to no signal, I would be concerned about a network issue nearby or maybe something wrong with your Pro Max.
