What’s the size difference? I think they said it’s “virtually identical “ but I bet it’s slightly bigger to accommodate the extra 0.2” screen

Around 3mm taller, and 0.1mm wider than iPhone 11 Pro. Is that enough to fit 0.2-inches of more screen without changing the bezel at least a little bit? They advertise it with a smaller bezel though.

I think the straight sides also make the bezels look smaller, as now there is no extra bit for rounding, the sharp edges help give this illusion of “there’s less”.

again people...iphone x iphone xs and 11...the bezel is format from the bezel of the display and the case curvature
Now, there is no more bezel from that case curvature since the frame is flat...so they reduce the total bezel by 0.8 max 1mm
So no illusion just physics
