My iPhone 11 pro is making a clicking sound when I simply tap on the mute switch... I have never had this issue with any other iPhone...

Here is a video:

Do you think that Apple will fix this/replace the device? I don't think that this is normal... Especially not for a phone that's not even 2 months old...

It’s not a problem, so you won’t get a new phone. Sorry. As the old joke goes, don’t tap on the mute switch.

So is this normal..? I can't believe that it is... I'm not trying to get a new phone, but you can hear for sure that the mute switch is loose...

Switches like that are nothing more than small plastic pieces that move aFTI até an electrical contact. Give your TV remote a little shake and tell me it doesn’t rattle a bit.

Did you actually see the video that I've posted..? I even compared it to my old iPhone X, which doesn't make a clicking sound at all, while I have used that phone for 3 years... And before that I had an iPhone 7, which also makes no sound when tapping on the mute switch... I don't know, but it's kind of weird that this happens in less than 2 months of usage...

Not all mute switches do that, but yours is fine. It doesn’t make noise when you aren’t tapping it so don’t tap it.

Hmm I don't know. So if (for example) you have some bad cracks on your screen, you just say: the screen is still responsive so don't look at the cracks..? That would be out of warranty, but you know what I mean.

Update: I just had a conversation with apple support and they said that the best thing I can do is to return the device for repair. They said that it's normal for the switch to make a sound when flipping the switch, but not when you just tap on the mute switch, while you're not flipping it.
