ProTip: Every keynote Apple gives review phones to journalists and influencers to review. They can't release the review for one week (usually tuesday of the following week)

This is how these events are always done. There's an episode of the Talk Show with John Gruber where special guest Nilay Patel explains the pain of bringing the new iPhone on a plane that same day.

Basically, if they're asked, they're allowed to say "yes, this is the new iPhone" but they're not allowed to openly review the phone. They sometimes will ask (without admitting they have the device) "What questions do you guys have about iPhone 11 Pro?"

Most of the influencers are reliable because they know if they leak the device they

1. Face a lawsuit for violating the embargo from one of the largest companies in the world
2. Know they'll never get a device again and Apple devices are their big money makers

Yes for what seems like the 1000% time, Apple will not update the status of your order until your device is actually in the US and ready for delivery. It your order says 9/20 there is a 99.999% chance that it will be delivered on 9/20.

Yes, that was the first thing I thought when I saw the keynote: Olive Drab or military green!

Based on this link, it does appear there are are bunch of potential flights with iphone cargo that will be departing from anchorage to louisville in 9 1/2 - 10 1/2 hrs (6 total within this span). These are all 8 1/2 hr flights. This data suggests quite a few iphones will be leaving anchorage later tonight 6:45pm - 7:45pm (EST time) and arriving in louisville on the 18th in the morning around 3:15am - 4:15am (EST time) tomorrow! Should see a lot of bowel movements tonight, get your prune juice flowing ladies and gents!!!

Correct, he is always biased toward the gray colors so I wouldn't put any stock into his opinions. I am now starting to regret I ordered SG and will more than likely return it for Midnight Green. Something about it after seeing these videos just grew on me. We will see I guess..
