That would be the ideal situation but the problem is this Friday I will be the only one at my shop in the morning, my guys will be at a marina doing a boat so I have to stay until UPS comes.

Nope. It's like this every year. There's a bunch of us in the same situation. We should all get our phones on Friday.

I’m a 2:55er with no movement, and I’m NYC, so it’s not a geographic thing. And it seems from several pages ago that it’s a wide range of device types and carriers. All about order in the line it seems.

I don’t think it is order in line. I ordered my sister’s phone right after mine and hers is already stateside. Mine is stuck in China, I am another 2:55er.

As a 2:55er I was feeling good being in a large group. I'm still in ZZ China. It seems a large number of the 2:55ers moved on last night. It figures i'm in the nonmoving group. My life is a living hell.

Yes for sure, my drivers remember me each year. Last two years I have used the UPS ability to track my truck once it is out. Driver told me he hates that since the route is often computer logistics planned and people have a cow when they see truck close, make a turn and not show up til afternoon.

Last year I got tired of seeing this happen and just went and found the truck in an apartment complex. I was really nice and the driver didn't seem surprised at all that I had hunted him down for an iPhone!

No options for hold at UPS distribution center. Do they not allow this anymore?

I was having trouble but I was able to select it by entering the exact address of the CC center.

Well I don't know about calling UPS being easier, but after about 5 minutes of working through the computer and getting a person, she held it at my local CC.

Now comes the scary part, the exception showing up in my tracking! It usually won't change till it actually gets picked up by the system in KY. I know it landed over night there already, just hasn't shown up in tracking after ANC.

Yes! It seems weird that my exception isn't showing up yet but that's how the UPS system works.

Mine is still saying "Preparing for Shipment" with delivery date of September 20. I ordered it at 8:09 AM the morning of the launch but have yet to get any updates. I called Apple and they were absolutely useless and told me they've not seen any iPhone Pro / Pro Max orders ship yet.

Anyone else in the same boat? (I'm a Canadian so I hope this is the right thread).

This is the US thread and Apple doesn’t mark orders shipped until the night or so before. We all have our UPS tracking from looking it up by reference number and know that they really have shipped. Please read post 1

Download the free UPS app and setup an account using the same address you used to order the phone. Apple won't update it's status until the phone arrives in Louisville KY, then it will change to Shipped.
