I cannot find a simple answer to this anywhere.

I own an iPhone 11 Pro, considering buying the 12 Pro or 12 Pro Max.

I’m aware of the software changes with the new iPhones (night mode deep fusion on more lenses)

However, lens wise, what exactly has changed?

From what I can garner, the 12 Pro has a different wide angle lens but has identical front facing, wide angle and telephoto lenses as the 11 Pro..?

Additionally the 12 Pro Max has a different wide and telephoto lenses but the same ultrawide and front facing lenses as both the 12 Pro and 11 Pro?

Would appreciate some clarity from someone in the know. Also if you own both the 11 Pro and 12 Pro, how have you found the differences in images?

Thanks dhs3.

the link contains the following:

“...which sounds like the same ultrawide we got in the iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro”

So still no definitive answers

Thanks though !
