Is your intent to show the two look identical? I’m assuming so because if I zoom in as far as the phone will let me, put it 5 inches from my face, I notice zero difference between the two. Not one other than the yellow hue of the one vs blue hue of the other. Text looks identical zoomed, un-zoomed, 12 inches or 5 inches away.
I can’t see any difference either. Maybe we are lucky in that the iPhone is a valid option due to an inability to see any difference. That suits me for my next upgrade.

Not blurry at all. It's a great display and text is quite sharp on my iPhone 11. I've only had it a few weeks but loving it so far. Not sure what was the biggest upgrade from my old iPhone 8 - display, camera, Face ID or battery life!

If you are coming from an 8, then you wouldn't notice a difference since they have the same 326 ppi resolution. It's the perfect upgrade with all that you mentioned plus double the Ram ;)

Actually it is 828p on paper…

iPhone XR/11 screens are actually “1008p” if you consider the aspect ratio of their screens. Starting with X, iPhones have 19.5:9 screens. So if you make a fair comparison with phones with 16:9 screen ratio, iPhone XR&11 have tall screens with 1008p resolution really. 1792x828 to be exact. Why do people take only the width under consideration not the height?

I’m upgrading to new iPhones every year since 2009 and after using iPhone X for a year, I upgraded to XR. And this year I moved to an 11. I’m perfectly happy with the screen’s sharpness. Pretty good for rich media content and reading text. I’m perfectly fine with using Liquid Retina LCD screen and I’ll keep passing iPhones with OLED screens.
