iPhone 11 iPhone 11 screen goes unresponsive?

Anyone ever have this issue? My sons iphone 11, its 18 months old, screen randomly goes unresponsive, sometimes a min or two, sometimes longer, its happening quite often, typing is practically impossible as the left side of screen just randomly stops working. The letter A is always an issue, press it nothing happens, press it a few times nothing happens then all of a sudden you've AAAAAA.

Restart didn't fix it, next step is a reset on computer, after that I'm out of ideas?

I do hazard a guess it being a hardware fault. Though, as you mentioned try restoring it first; if that doesn't resolve the issue, you would need to take it to the service centre.

Yeah I'm thinking that. Apple actually has a replacement program about this issue on iPhone 11, sadly his serial number doesn't line up but it's the same issue it seems https://support.apple.com/en-gb/iphone-11-display-module-replacement-program

Yes did that today, same issue
