iPhone 12 iPhone 12 blue colour owners

I'm pleased....to me it's slightly darker than the worst of the pics out there.....so that's a good thing for me.
Walked into the apple store this morning half expecting to switch my reservation for the blue to a black 12 based on some pics I’d seen of the blue this week. As soon as I saw it I knew the blue was exactly the colour I’d wanted. Nice dark almost petrol blue. The black is stunning but the blue for me is spot on!
Same! The first "hands on" pics made it look like a lego/toy Blue and I kinda hated it. I was planning to change to black but it actually looks great, it's a little more Navy. It also looks great with the Navy silicone case.
Opened it indoors and looks exactly like the renders. Very relieved and happy.
I'm really not sure about it. It looks like plastic IMO. Dare I say it, I'm not convinced by the redesign now I have it in my hands. I think I prefer to iPhone X (which I have upgraded from). I'll give it some more time today as it may just be the change I am unsure about...but at the moment I wonder whether I should try and find a cheap iPhone 11 Pro (in Forest Green).
So funny you say this - as I'm coming from an iPhone X as well and having the same thoughts - the new phone is nice but seems to square to me.. I'm thinking of an iPhone 11 Pro now..
The blue 12 looks great! I Love the feel of the square edges - I can finally use it without a case without feeling like it's going to slip out of my hands.
It certainly is squarer, doesn't feel as soft in your hands. On the other hand though, it feels significantly less likely to slip out of your hands, which is definitely a plus.
Goddamn the Pacific Blue looks fantastic.
That looks sleek as heck! Hoping when I see mine tomorrow it negates any reservations of thinking I should switch to silver. I know the pac blue looks different in various light but I absolutely love the look of yours in your shot!
Looks great and feels great, though side by side with my iphone X which i am currently using I don’t see much differences TBH
I don’t know i will give it more afew days.
The reason i got it is because i am always travelling and i really like the esim feature which I don’t have on X. That is the only reason i upgraded otherwise i am very pleased with my X

I ordered the 12 in blue and held off till yesterday to see and read about the real color of it. Seems that the consensus is that its deeper than most of silly ME FIRST unboxing videos. Under normal lighting or even outside in the shade its definitely darker.
Some of the higher end reviewers out there took much more accurate and color graded video to show the accurate hues thankfully.

Very happy with the choice, I'm coming from a Space Grey 11 Pro and it's refreshing to have a non-monotone one this time. The blue does look different than on Apple's site, where I thought it was going to be a bit more of a blue/green mix. Indoors and outside I don't find it to look cartoon-y at all - more of a dark blue/navy.
I also am pretty satisfied with size of the regular 12 so far. We'll see how the mini feels when I check it out in-store, but the flat sides make it so much easier to grip. Additionally, glad I went with the 12 instead of the 12 Pro simply due to my dislike of that matte glass texture of the Pro's. Too slippery imo.
Had an adventure tracking down the UPS truck after they didn't deliver at my apartment. Excited I don't have to wait until they would have retried delivery on Monday!

I think it’s the darker blue that is doing it for everyone really. I am glad it’s not like the XR blue.
I don’t see a point of a case either as your hiding away that amazing colour or any other colours. The way I see it. I will get Apple care + and just keep the iPhone in my dedicated phone pocket when not in use. One thing I tend to do is if I am in the car I tend to put my iPhone in the gaps of the steering wheel and let it rest against it while watching a movie or something if I am
parked up lol. I might just rest the iPhone in my xr case during them times.
