Hi! I bought an iphone 12 two weeks ago and I’ve noticed on dark grey there is consistently a ‘glow’ around the edges of the phone screen. It’s a sort of green vignette.

Is this just what the iPhone 12 Pro looks like when producing these greys?

I’m considering replacement/repair I’m not sure if it is worth it if another model will just be the same/potentially worse in this area.

Do other people see the kind of glow like in the attached images? Is your phone more uniform?

Looks like it came out of a nuclear plant . Get it looked after or if are within your 14 days return and get a new one. That will most likely get worse over time.

on iPhone 12 the screen is OLED! That means the black should be real black! Like pixels don't light up and nothing is shown! if i were you I will look to replace/fix it asap if it's under warranty since that will become worse with time.

Issue is that black wallpaper he attached ain't true black and dark grey as he mentioned. I just tested it on a known good Samsung OLED panel. Hence why the lighter areas are showing up with a light green tint. As per my settings menu of my iphone 12 PM which I posted.
In case you missed it, I'll refresh you. Many if not all iphone 12 pro max devices exhibited green tint on dark images.
