iPhone 12 pro overheating on 5G

My 12 Pro is gerri g extremely hot. This occurs during normal use, the phone is not charging, and background updates are off. I turned my 5G off and it rectified the issues. I’ll be contacting customer support tomorrow and hopefully they’ll provide a solution.
