iPhone 12 Pro review
The iPhone 12 Pro delivers amazing camera and video quality, 5G and crazy fast performance in a sleeker new design
I’m hoping we can do this too, for the sake of battery life.Hope we’re able to turn off 5G completely, battery not up to par.
We can do that already with LTE, so I'd be surprised if not.Hope we’re able to turn off 5G completely, battery not up to par.
I think 12 pro camera is a noticeable difference overall. Makes me wonder how great Pro max will beWell after watching 4 reviews, it seems the cameras on the regular 12 and 12 pro are slight improvements over the 11 series. Certainly less than I expected. Now I’m hoping the 47% larger sensor and larger pixels on the Pro Max better differentiate.
I’m hoping we can do this too, for the sake of battery life.
Awesome. We aren't getting 5G for a while here in the Maritimes so no point even having the Auto setting on
I’ve always had the option to choose which G I want to use so I assume the same applies to 5g. This must be region specific or something.Hope we’re able to turn off 5G completely, battery not up to par.
Based on some of the reviews, the magnetic Apple Wallet may not be great. Sounds like it slides off in jeans pocket. Hope not.
Yikes this part of The Verge review is concerning:![]()

Apple iPhone 12 Review: Superfast Speed, if You Can Find It (Published 2020)
The new iPhone has an improved design, but it’s undermined by the wireless industry’s messy rollout of ultrafast 5G networks.www.nytimes.com
Interesting. So we are getting slimmer bezels according to Tom's Guide. I couldn't find any info on that before.
Yikes this part of The Verge review is concerning:
“In the end, I think iPhone 12 Pro battery life is going to vary widely for people depending on how much they use 5G — especially mmWave 5G — so this is something we’ll have to track over time. But I would definitely not expect the “try and stop me” battery life we saw on the regular iPhone 11.”
This is probably a better device for people coming from Xs or Xs Max.
Reminds me of the early days of 3G as well as 4G, lol. Phones that came with both early saw incredibly bad battery life when using the standards in the early days.Says to me more reason not to use 5G
