iPhone 12 Pro Max iPhone 12 max pro burning hot

So a week ago I dropped my phone and have upgraded to a iPhone 12 pro max but I think I’m going to return it as after a hours use of watching movies on the phone or even texting the phone just burns up.

Has anybody else had issues with the phone over heating?

it gets so hot I have to stop using it as it hurts my hand to constantly hold something so hot. I have had about 7 iPhones and never ever had such a issue.

Ditto above. I’ve had mine get very warm under extreme conditions, but never to the point where it’s so hot I can’t hold it. Heck, I’ve never had that on any iPhone or iPad.

So yeah, get that bugger replaced ASAP.

Occasionally, my 12PM would get really warm with hotspotting.

A simple reboot works. Press Volume UP, press Volume DOWN, and then press & HOLD Power Button until you see white apple symbol.

Mine only gets quite hot on certain arcade games but not during normal usage

I would definitely have the phone replaced. So far I have not had the phone get exceedingly hot. It will get warm, but not to the point where I can’t hold it.

Sounds like it would get too hot. Send it for replacement.

Thanks for the replies I have asked for a return. This is the first time i have ever had to return a new phone 🤦🏻‍♀️
