iPhone 12 Pro iPhone 12 Max Sensor Shift Question

I've been reading some articles about the 12 Max Sensor-Shift. Does it sound like it's only available in video mode? I'm hoping it works in picture mode as well. I would appreciate any clarification. Thanks!!!

I'm pretty sure it works in either mode.

Will work for both modes. If it works for video then it works for pictures.
