iPhone 12 iPhone 12 Mini buttons are hard to press.

iPhone 12 Mini volume buttons and power button really hard to push. When put in a case, it's even worse. Anyone else having this issue? I am upgrading from a Xs.

There’s certainly a chance that there’s an issue with your phone, but really if that was the case I would kind of expect a problem with one button and not all three. It seems very unlikely that all three buttons would be defective. You might want to go to a store and check out a demo model and see if it feels the same way yours does. If not, then make a warranty claim.

Buttons definitely seem to have less travel on mine as well. Do any of your volume buttons align with the top of the mute switch? Or do they go about halfway?

No problem here with the buttons. Feel and respond as they always have, even with a case.

The volume up button on mine has less travel than the other two. I dislike the buttons being completely flush, it makes them hard to locate and slightly difficult to press. I will probably use the control panel volume slider normally though so not sure if I will care after this initial "discovery" period.

No problems without a case.

No problems with the Apple Leather Case.

But the Adidas Case i got for the gym makes it almost impossible to press the buttons. But really it's just a bad case.
