With the Apple Event now on for November 10, does anyone else think the press embargo for reviews for the remaining iPhones will be lifted tomorrow? While the other iPhones reviews came out the Tuesday before launching to the public, I imagine Apple wouldn't want people distracted with iPhone reviews during its Mac focused event next Tuesday...

Did anyone read the post? I know the other iPhones’ reviews came out a few days before release. However, in the case of these phones, that Tuesday before release (November 10) falls on the same day as another Apple Event. Would Apple really canabalize its own press coverage?

They might have a different day for that reason, or Apple may like the full day of Apple press coverage. It won't be tomorrow, with election there would be zero press coverage.

My guess would be Monday, so they have enough coverage time before the event on Tuesday.

I can imagine Apple wanting people to talk about the new MacBook's the rest of the week and still give the iPhones enough attention too in the press. As the 12 and 12 Pro reviews were the most important (first time the reviewers actually held a new generation iPhone) the Mini and the Max reviews are still important.

If they would lift the embargo on Tuesday the reviews would be snowed under (or worse, the MacBooks wouldn't get enough attention). Maybe the embargo lifts on Friday so people can talk about the Mini and the Max the entire weekend and Monday and then shift focus to the MacBooks on Tuesday. Especially as many reviewers already have at least the Mini for a couple of days now.
