I just purchased an iPhone 12 mini and an iPhone 13 mini. Both are the product red color. The retails I purchased them from stated they were in excellent condition. I am guessing not every retailer has the same definition of "excellent". My question to the forum is which one would you keep? Here are the specs:

12 mini: looks better than excellent, has 64GB, and 82% battery life
13 mini: looks, to me, somewhat taken care of but a few dings in the aluminum casing and camera casing, 128GB, and 93% battery life. Also, the left corner on the display looks like it might not be adhered any longer. I can press it down and it stays for a bit.

I know the 13 mini spec wise is the better phone, but I'd like some other thoughts as well.

EDIT: I would be using more as an iPod than iPhone.

If 64GB more than satisfies your use requirement then get the 12 mini and enjoy using it. If you will end up running out of storage then the obvious choice is to get the 13 mini.

As for resellers, yes not all are great unfortunately. Also I have seen some put in reprogrammed "boosted" batteries to make them look like they have better health (> than 90%) but showing high cycle counts greater than 600 so watch out for that. There are some very unethical resellers out there. That is the problem with buying pre owned iPhones however there are also good resellers there. Unfortunately it is the bad ones that make it harder for people.
