iPhone 12 iPhone 12 Mini - Silent Mode - does yours vibrate?

Does your iPhone 12 Mini vibrate when you slide the silent switch to the 'on' position?

I'm sure this used to happen in previous iPhones.

Much prefer to keep my iPhone in silent mode and rely on the vibrations for any incoming notifications.
At the moment, putting it in silent mode doesn't allow vibrations.

"Vibrate on Silent" is turned to ON (have turned off/on in case it fixed it - no luck)

Have you checked FaceID attention-aware feature? If it is set to ON and iPhone is in your hand or looked at while your notification comes in, the iPhone might not interact?
