Why not? We soon have a separate app for classic music so why not a separate port for usb-c

I cannot wait to see that waterproof microSD card slot. Amazing.
My current Samsung s10e has that. My old Sony XZ1 Compact had it. Newer Sony phones still have it. It's not that hard.

Apple just wants to squeeze every penny out of you by forcing you to pay up for the higher storage phones by jacking up the price by a lot.

Yes, it’s preposterous but also triggers the part of my brain that admires arrays of ports. I can’t help it. I want to buy things to connect to that port.

A single person adding USB-C, an upgrade that Apple should have done on their phones years ago, absolutely pathetic they haven't yet and honestly embarrassing at this point.
I think it's pretty obvious that, if Apple hasn't transitioned iPhones to USB-C yet, is not because they don't know how to do it.

That USB-C port is so thick that you could never design a thin folding phone with that limitation compared to Lightning. They'll probably get rid of the port altogether then.

Too bad somebody could invent a an attachment for the bottom of your phone that has all the ports, maybe make it part of the case that when you plug it into the case you have a microSD slot you have a USB-C a slot and a lightning slot.

can't we use a magnetic charger instead?

We need this on iPad except the second port is a display input port!! Such a shame such a beautiful display can’t be used for steam deck or anything for that matter

Enough space for TWO connecting ports but GOD FORBID they give you microSD card slot or a headphone jack.

Apple's so full of it, it's disgusting.

I get the feeling they want people to forget that it’s possible for a device to have more than one port. They even tried it on the Mac but people kept calling them on it until they fixed it.

Don’t they still sell the MacBook Air with just a single USB-C port though? Ridiculous. I get that they want to push the boundaries and move the industry forward and floppy drives etc etc but come on.

And I’m still salty about the SIM slot.
