I was wondering if there is any improvement in T-Mobile coverage with the new 5g radios in the 12 and 12pro phones. I haven't seen any specific mention of it. But i think that's going to determine if I get one of the new models.

So if you have tmo and a new 12 or 12 pro, what's your experience been with coverage? Same? Better? Worse?

Thanks!

Most areas I think the reception is better. I’m in the Orlando area. So far I’m happy with the coverage although the 5G speeds are, good but not some of the numbers I’ve seen others post. Generally between 70-100Mbps down.

Unfortunately in my condo building I must be in a dead zone cause I go to one bar in the elevator and the stairwell. Once in a while the call will drop in either. I can understand the stairwell but the elevator baffles me. My unit is also a weak area so I have a cell spot LTE. Works well enough.

Are you able to tell if the reception is better because of the sub-6 5g or just better reception from the phone? At this point, my biggest concern is better coverage from additional bands and any extra speed is a bonus. I travel a lot for work and while TMO and ATT have very similar coverage in my area, I'd appreciate some better signal in the fringe areas.
