Has anyone experienced their iPhone draining overnight? My iPhone was around 70% around midnight and it drained completely around 1-2 am with no usage. Apple ran a couple diagnostics tests on my phone/battery and they said everything looks okay. Wondering if anybody experienced this? Is it a rare glitch?

Probably it was still background downloading from iCloud. If not then it might be a rare glitch.

The first two days the battery life was awful on the 12 pro. Like really really bad. I didnt restore from backup I set it up as a new iPhone so idk if that had anything to do with it. I assume it was indexing because after the first two days the battery has been amazing. Finished the day with 40% left.

I restored from backup, I’m glad the battery is working better for you! So far it hasn’t happened again so maybe it’s done doing it’s thing in the background.

This is something which is happening with everyone especially after updating to iOS 14. But maybe after restoring from backup this can work well.
