My iPhone 12 Pro battery health has slipped to 94% after my initial purchase last fall. I have noticed I'm not getting through the day without having to charge it with fairly light use. My wife's iPhone 11 Pro still at 100% battery health and my son's iPhone 12 at 100%. Anything to be concerned about? Thanks

Have you had a very high number of charge cycles?
My 12 Pro, purchased in October, is still at 100% with 65 charge cycles. With relatively light use, I only need to charge it every other day.
This is the only iPhone I've ever had that I haven't had to charge every night.

How can you tell number of charge cycles?
Easy.

Setting->Privacy->Analytics -> Find log-aggregate-2021-04-22 (for example). Scroll down to very end, then locate

<key>com.apple.power.battery.CycleCount</key>

There is your charge cycles

Wow, thank you for this Aoligei, i checked my logs on my 12 Mini and my Battery cycle is at 73. Further to this it shows other bits of information, like my max battery capacity is now 2211mh with Max shown as 2214 mh.

I got my 12 Pro on launch day and am at 90% battery life. That seems crazy to me. I’ve never had a phone decrease so quickly. The only difference between this and my prior phones is that I do frequently use the MagSafe charger. But that’s what it’s for, right?

Anyone else in the same boat?
I do have Apple Care so will be looking for a new battery at 80%

In the past month, express replacement received 11/12/20, I’ve dropped from 99% to 95% with 3 percentage occurring over 3 days. Currently sitting at 117 charge cycles. I have healthy charging habits and typically don’t run it down past 30%. Since I’ve seen the health drop it has been draining significantly, for example 2-3% within 5 minutes of light use safari, gmail, etc. Had an appointment last week and all they did was wipe and start from new which made no difference whatsoever so know it’s not a rogue app. Have another appointment on Tuesday to address screen tint/glow/flashing, ambient light sensor, and speaker issues. Apple’s refusal to acknowledge there is significant problems with the 12 pros on multiple fronts is ridiculous.

Sorry to hear about your additional problems with your phone. I’ve only noticed the battery issue with mine.

Mine is also at 90%. I think this may be due to Apple releasing mag safe battery.

My launch day 12 Pro Max is 94%. I’m not sure of the charge cycles. My device is jailbroken, so I am still on 14.1. I’ve only charged with the 5W charger brick, charge overnight and in my car, and have the same usage pattern as my 18 month old XS Max. I have AppleCare+ so once my device hits 80%, I’ll get a battery replacement. Hopefully this happens before the 2022 iPhones are released.

My iPhone 12 Pro has the longest time at 100% still so far. My x lasted 3 weeks until it went down and my 11 pro lasted a month. I got my 12 pro in may.

My iPhone 12 Pro Max is on 94% also. It was pretty much launch day when I got it, and logs are saying 245 cycles. It’s also incredibly hot here - often in the high 30s or low 40s (centigrade), and the phone does get very hot indeed at the moment.

12 Pro and it’s at 94%. Got it shortly after launch, can’t remember the date exactly but it was mid-late October. 216 charge cycles. I use a combo of lightning cable sometimes, but often use a basic wireless charger at night.

I have used my iPhone a considerable amount of time, so it doesn’t seem too bad. I generally keep an iPhone 1-2 years. I do wonder if it will hurt resale value; I usually get good prices from reselling them. I sold my XR after 18 months and it was at 92%.

Today I checked and I am now at 93%. I took my phone off the charger at 6:54am and I am now sitting at 48% at 3:49pm. That’s not bad for me since I’m listening to music for 6 hours at work and periodically using it at my break time.

Launch day 12 mini here— also at 94%. I remember checking just a little while ago and it was at 99%, so it seems to have lost quite a bit in a relatively short amount of time.
