I didn't see anything about battery life.....was there any increase over the 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max?

Looks like the 12 pro is actually worse than the 11 pro for offline video playback. The 12 Pro Max is the same as the 11 Pro max. And the 12 is marginally better than the 11 with streamed video playback.

Was clear to me that there was no interest from them to talk about battery life and security (nothing about touch id, face id, whatever)...they tend to focus on what has improved if its the same or worse..better not to mention it !

That says quite a bit about real-world battery life. No surprise Apple didn't mention anything about battery.

Why asking this question now? Battery life says nothing at all, because it depends on how you use the device.
If you use it for email and text it will last longer than if you play and YouTube all day. So it doesn't matter.

They seem to rate them the same when it’s comes 12 Pro Max vs 11 Pro Max indeed, seems the A14 is making up for the supposedly smaller battery in the 12 Pro Max
