Just looking for a bumper for my incoming iPhone 12 Pro. Any recommendations? I was thinking Rhinoshield but not sure what else I might be missing? Any help appreciated. Thanks!

Should've used the search function. Yep, looks like Rhinoshield is the option.

I’ve been looking for bumper cases all week. My rhinoshield should be here next week.
ESR has no plans to make a bumper for the 12 like they had for the 11 which makes me sad because it looked so much thinner than rhinoshield. Ah well. Will look again after the phone has been out a while.

This one looks nice.

Worth noting that their iPhone 11 case reviews show a fair amount of broken phones.

Anyone remember the company that made precision aluminum or stainless bumper type cases years ago. One thing I remember about the design was it ofter had 3 colored sides and then a different colored 4th side. It was held together by screws. The cases were some of the highest quality ones available and quite pricy.

EDIT - it was an Element Case but I think they have gone to just plastic now. They were extremely nice for the 4 and 5.

I remember those. Haven't seen them in years though

Aww, I was hoping for an ESR bumper for the 12 series, The bumper I got for my 11 pro max has been useful in situations where I wanted a case (usually don’t use a case, but exceptions for certain situations, and then the bumper has been a great compromize.

Cheers. Just got one of those for £6.66. First phone I haven’t wanted to put it in a case since...ever. Going to get a glass protector for the back of it as well
Good move. My iPhone XS Max dripped onto concrete and the back opened up I little, crack. Costs more to replace than a screen?! Why would functional design have you make the back of a phone glass so it can crack open?!

it wasn’t under AppleCare I didn’t understand changes to their policy and thought was covered for first year and I could pay like $100-200 for accidental damage. They wanted the price of a new phone to replace it. **** off Apple. Still using months on and it’s fine.

Why would functional design have you make the back of a phone glass so it can crack open?! And worse so hard to replace that even 3rd party repairers won’t touch it because it takes them half a day to get to the bottom of case and back again? Fashionable over functional Apple.

Yeah I haven’t ever used AppleCare for an iPhone I don’t think. This year may be different. I always get the Apple Leather cases and they’re always the best. But they hide the design completely. Here’s to hoping this combination will give me the best of both worlds.

Loved Element Case bumpers for the iPhone 4/4s. Really hoping with the new/old shape they can bring those back. And not in plastic.

The real question though is how will these affect 5G? The iPhone 12 has a window cutout in the side for 5G. Will a metal case block the signal?

Why are there no slim bumpers with NO lips... the lips are ugly and my phones gonna have screenshield on front and back... anyone know of any decent bumpers that are slim and simple? Apples old bumpers were decent... albeit a lil chunky lol.
