Biggest gimmicks I’ve seen, Samsung s20 ultra has been a laughing stock because of its camera.

8k video recording feature looks horrid on the s20.

The iphone 12 cameras are said to be some very good upgrades. Not much detail as of yet but the big improvements could be camera related so to say there’s nothing new is not accurate.

We already know this. iPhone 13 or 14 will be the really good camera redesign. iPhone 12 Pro cameras will be more incremental for now, so the 5.4” iPhone 12 is the good buy until we get always-on display, LTPO display, 120hz, periscope, higher MP on cameras, etc.

iPhone 12 Pro is sort of analogous to the iPad Pro 2020 update. Incremental, lots of nice things like better microphones, more base storage, more base RAM, but overall it’s not a huge upgrade from the 2018 iPP. That honor will go to the 2021 or 2022 iPP.

The S20 ultra camera is flawed but it's not complete trash. Up to 30 x zoom is decent.

Yeah the ultra only issues was bad auto focus. For overall pictures it took some great photos
