Coming from the LCD panel on my previous iPhone 11, the panel on my new iPhone 12 Pro seems extremely warm to me.
Anyone else notice this?

Yes mine is warm too. A lot is people say it’s a lottery with the panels and the panels are defective but honestly I think Apple meant to make it this way because of the colour gradient they chose? D65? I am not too sure.
The problem is it’s not 6500K, it’s more like 6000K. The 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max were around 6200K, the Xs and Xs Max were flawless at 6500K.
So good news. Returned my 12 Pro to the Apple Store and exchanged it for an identical model and the color balance is almost perfect now.
Nothing. Just they were sorry I wasn’t happy with the first one. What did they say the problem was? Or if there actually was one?
I only have my 8 plus to compare it to so, I think expecting any OLED to be as blue-white as a backlit LCD screen is a bit silly. I also think this whole screen lottery/just keep swapping out your phone concept is silly. If iphones were really this likely to be faulty it'd be a huge scandal. I feel for the retail workers at apple this time of year.
Sure, but then if the display phone also has some kind of variation in warmth too then you could drive yourself crazy worrying about it. OLED gonna OLED.What about comparing to the display phone 12? Wouldn't that be a valid comparison? Isn't that what Apple is saying the phone should look like?
If it were me, I'd care less about the overall tone and more about the fact that the text looks less dark and more difficult to read. At least that's how it looks to my eyes. After 3 days I think I'm getting used to my yellowish 12 Pro. Here are pics comparing it to my wife's XS. 12 Pro to the left, XS in the right. I'll make a decision on returning closer to the end of the return period. I have no backup, therefore my local store availability will influence the decision as well.
What do you guys/gals think?
