iPhone 12 Pro Max iphone 12 pro IUP exchange issue

Hello, mac rumor users I have an issue.

So my iPhone 12 pro max came with a cosmetic scratch via IUP so the apple online store offered to exchange and keep my current IUP loan without having to cancel it they told me they escalated my case to the special department to get a special label and once they get my unit they will expedite it.

They email me the same day everything was set up they asked for pictures of the damage.

when I called yesterday they told me my case was escalated and the shipping department agreed for a replacement that replacement is in progress they told me 8 days they will reply back and one person said Dec 23 yet the person I spoke to for all the trouble he said he would give a 150 credit to use in the online store so I choose a home pod mini and he told me to wait for a label.

how long does it take apple to send out the label and who should I Believe I really want a unit before Christmas ?

today I talk to a supervisor she saying it possible exchange and also not possible to do exchange only return and rebuy

Is it even possible to do they been saying it is but there giving me both answers ?

That is what I thought. It would have to be a return and rebuy. Unfortunately you may be out of luck. Or just do express replacement if that damage really bugs the crap out of you.

I rather do is wair a couple of months then use Warrenty there no set answer I’m waiting for the call back from the supervisor it’s the fault from the agent who said it’s possible I really don’t know

Another update everything in progress dec 23 I would get a label changing my adress to my home extend it

fyi they wanted to throw me to the Genius Bar to get it swapped fast

It’s done there replacing it but adress isn’t updated
