I've just bought used iphone 12 pro and I wonder whether it was opened before or not. When I look closer at upper part of screen I can see the gap between screen and frame. I can slide the paper inside. Is it normal?

I have an iPhone 13 Mini and I can definitely not do that. If there is that much detachment then I'd have it checked out. Perhaps take it to an Apple store (or an authorised repair shop).

OTOH, maybe it is a quirk of the iPhone 12 Pro… 🤷🏻‍♂️

Really?

Just checked on iFixit and… (link) the top is held by clips and glue. I suspect @stigman 's iPhone might have been opened. Best to have it checked by a professional.
