I have a need to get both but can only afford to get one, I’m not sure why I have to provide that much pertinent info it’d a straight forward question, “which one would you get”
If you don't want to have a reciprocal conversation, I am done. I am not going to blindly guess which one you should purchase. Maybe others will waste their time with your thread.
I think the problem is both are good, it is rather which is the better fit for YOU.Without knowing YOU, we cant help YOU. So either your on your own on this one or you gotta give us more information if you want us to genuinely help you. Simple stuff like what other computers/devices you already own, what you want from a mobile device, etc. Its literally impossible to help you wihtout knowing anything about you. Sorry we are not stalkers who will figure this out for you.
Anyways if you insist on some commentary, I own an iPhone 11 Pro & Apple watch series 6. They are very different use-type devices. I think the watch is good for health tracking, reminders, quick notes, quick simple "bite-sized" uses. The phone on the other hand is much more versatile and while harder to carry around all the time offers much more functionality in everything you do. I feel like when I switch to my iphone I am always happy to be using a much bigger screen and be able to use the device so much more comfortably.
Well.......if you don’t have an iPhone, then an Apple Watch is about as useful as poop-flavored lollipop...

What everyone wants know is what iPhone do you have now?
If you have a pretty recent one, then I would get the watch. If you don’t have an iPhone, the watch won’t do you any good.

Same dilemma I had but I broke down and got both. I got the watch first and later got the 12 Pro Max.
Does this mean you have the 11PM? If so, do you have an Apple Watch?
If you‘re rocking that phone with anything below a S5 or no watch at all, I’d keep the phone and get the watch.
My 12PM is working as advertised. But you already have an amazing phone (11 PM)...so, not worth it to upgrade to 12PM. Go get the Watch!
Going from S2 to S6 is like traveling to a new dimension of speed!!

Trade in the 11 PM and get both. See if the AW 2 is worth anything in the trade in too. You could also try selling both as well. I traded in my 11 256G PM for my 12 256G PM. I got like the max $550 plus $36 in itune credit.
I only get a new Apple Watch if I need a feature that my existing device doesn’t have.
Similar approach for an iPhone. I use my iPad at home more often so I’m not going to get a new iPhone every time.

If you Have the 11 pro max get the watch...the difference from series 2 to 6 is massive while 11 pro max to 12 pro max isn’t much difference unless camera is really important to you
