iPhone 12 Pro Max iPhone 12 Pro Max - cracked glass on main camera

Hey Everyone! I realized Saturday that the glass over the main camera on my iPhone 12 Pro Max is missing a small piece and is cracked...

Has anyone just replaced the glass without replacing the camera module? I see there are some YT videos on it...

Thoughts?

I cracked the glass on one of my cameras on my iPhone 13 max. Apple said they couldn't repair it. Ended up with a new phone.

In this situation, the entire chassis needs to be replaced. The Apple Store doesn't do that on site and will give you a refurb replacement instead.

This is one of the times I hate the Apple designs since many damages require like a full body repair.

If you're trading it in this fall, just be prepared to take a hit in your trade in amount due to the damage to the camera glass..
