Hello iPhone 12 users,

does anyone know which USB version the iPhone 12 Pro or Pro Max supports?
Is it the same as the previous models, only USB 2.0?

GSM Arena says USB 2.0 still since the Lightning connector only has 8 of its 16 pins being used at a time. It's only the 12.9" iPP that has all 16 pins inside its connector so it can actually transfer at 3.0 speeds. Yes, the MFi certification $$$ and the idea of port-less are the main reasons for not adapting USB-C

not just 12.9 inch iPP models (all of them) but also 10.5/11 inch iPP and iPad Air 4 has USB 3.0 too

Is there any workaround for this -- really fast WiFi or anything like that? This is just ridiculous of Apple to be turning out half-terabyte devices with a standard that was being flagged as a huge limiting factor in laptops with smaller hard drives than that a decade ago.
