PS: till this day I keep thinking “what a wonderfully useless word in my vocabulary that actually just sounds cool yet cannot use it for anything else lol”
What, "chamfered?" That word has been around since the mid 1500s.
I learned how to make a chamfered edge with a plane, saw, and router in 8th grade shop class. And as a high school senior, I learned how to draw one so that somebody else could make it.
It's not a shame that you don't know the word. It is a shame, however; that you've been taught that you don't need certain words.
...You guys are leading new generation of brainwashed consumers.
Just because people don't see it your way, what...they're brainwashed? If you had real authority in this world, what would you do...make it illegal for people to disagree with you; illegal for them to buy something you don't like? Wear a hat you don't like?
I think we all need to chill. Have an ice cream bar.
Nobody agrees with me, yet my post that you object to has multiple likes. OK, guy.
I downvoted you for having a mean attitude. But that's your prerogative. Carry on!
You do realize the purpose of consumer reports is not to comment on the past but to provide information for purchasing decisions moving forward yes? And.. of course they review toasters too.
Thank you. You're right of course.
The problem with CR these days, however; is that many appliance manufacturers pretty much suck at what they do. Seriously, just look up ovens, refrigerators, or washers & dryers. Some categories have no ratings above 85. That's horrible when NOBODY makes something with excellence. Making matters worse is the fact that especially for kitchen and laundry appliances, models can be made and sold for several years before a refresh. I recently bought a washer and dryer.
I didn't get warranty cards, although as LG products, they do have warranties. No, I got cards for ARBITRATION, that's what I got. What does that tell you when the manufacturer thinks it's more important to provide you with information on your arbitration rights than "making it right"?
