My leather care is already starting to peel around the edges! This has to be one of the worst leather cases I’ve ever owned...
if you check the patina proud thread you'll see, there's no replacement that will fix it, they've made the leather case differently this year. real leather doesn't peel this soon, there is a colored paint coating over all of them. I'd return it.Take it back to apple for a replacement or refund, strange that it’s peeling already, my launch day 12 pro max leather case is still going strong, my previous apple silicone case for my xs max lasted me a year and a half before it started peeling.
My baltic blue looked like that after my hand slipped while taking it off and I "scratched" the case with my fingernail. After one week of usage mine seems to be peeling as well. But it is so tiny that I don't think they'll take me seriously if I try to swap it.

I have the black leather case on my Mini and am very happy with it.This one and other topic about poor quality of today leather cases discourage me to buy it for my new 12 mini. Bad job Apple, bad job.

Looks like an abrasion to me, not peeling. It‘s not made of indestructible material. After one week of usage mine seems to be peeling as well. But it is so tiny that I don't think they'll take me seriously if I try to swap it.

Yes, that’s the nature of leather. My Nomad has tons of scratches, gouges and scars. They tend to “heal” over time, but the scratched area tends to be darker than the other parts of leather that isn’t scratched. I personally love the look of worn leather.Hi guys, I've had the same problem. My case is wearing down just by putting the phone in my pocket or in a bag. I also noticed it scratches quite easily. Cant imagine what it would look like if I really drop it someday
so it was the last time buying a leather case for me I guess
The issue for me is that I've had an Apple saddle brown leather case on every iPhone I've owned since the case came out. I love the patina that develops on them over time.
