I have had the 12PM since launch day , last night I noticed that when I pull down the control centre I can see the battery, wifi, signal and date burned into the phone. Is this normal? And if not would Apple replace it ?

This doesn't really bother me but when I sell it in September I'd feel obligated to tell the person about it .

If you still see the ghosting after rebooting, you should contact Apple. And telling a potential buyer down the line is the right thing to do. Good on you.
