Hey everyone. I received my iPhone 12 Pro Max last Friday and really like it so far.
However I noticed that there are some touch input problems when my thumb lays rather flat or sideways on the display while scrolling.
The larger the surface area of the finger on the screen becomes the more the touch target begins to jumps around.

Here’s a video of it:

To be fair this is nothing that happens all the time during normal use but it’s definitely annoying when it does ( mostly while swiping up to close apps or scrolling long lists ). It seems to me that this could be a problem with the touchscreen hardware.

I checked my old iPhone XS, an iPhone 12 and an iPhone 7 Plus and none of them seem to have this issue.

Does anyone else notice something similar or is it just my unit?

Im coming from Android and notice I need to give things at the top corners of the screen more of a push/firmer tap for them to register. The keyboard section is more of a tap.

Kind of annoying
