I just activated my 12 Pro with no issues via chatting with Verizon. I also activated the eSim. I didn't feel the need to have to replace my current sim card.

Well it’s just spinning. Don’t know what to do. It populated with my bomber when I turned it on but won’t get past this screen.

It’s happening to me too. I put my Verizon pin in and it’s been on this screen for the past 10 minutes.

did you activate e-sim automatically or do you have to call Verizon to activate it?

I had issues as well using the SIM pre-loaded in the new phone. After calling, all I had to do was turn off Find My iPhone on the old phone, turn off the old phone, and then power cycle the new one.

Nothing is working for me. Can't call Verizon because the only line I have is the one I'm trying to activate on. I've restored my phone, I've turned it off and on. I've tried it with the sim and without the sim. Nothing is working.

Try doing a live chat thru the app or the website

Same issue here, iphone 12 pro on Verizon. I used the Verizon live chat. All they needed was the iccid number and they were able to activate in a couple minutes.

I spun up a chat session with Verizon and provided the info to the agent. I did have to give them my physical and digital sim from the iPhone 12 as well as the ICCID from my current physical SIM card. After they activated it, I restarted and had to make the eSim the primary line in the Cellular settings. All good after that.

I have a different issue. I was able to activate the phone but texts send but won’t receive and I dont get any phone calls. I can make phone calls. I am switching to Verizon from T mobile And my old one still works. It’s the weirdest thing!

I am also getting a separate error message when I try and activate iMessage. It says “An error occured during activation. Try again”. This is when I try and select my number as a contact that you can send and receive messages to and from

This has been by far the worst experience activating two iPhones today.

Could do nothing online. Nothing worked. Neither phone activated itself.

Took one phone call to get the 12 activated, after on hold for 20 minutes.

Many phone calls to the 800# and I was hung up on for the 12 Pro. Now Verizon is closed. Multiple chat tries. Took 2 hours to get someone.

On chat now, STILL not activated...

My wife’s did this, I hard reset it while it was on that screen and when it came back on it re-did the startup and it was fine. Not sure what is going on.
