I'm trying to set up my mom 12 pro but her whats app on her XR won't back up at all it says it needs 38.52 storage but the phone a 64GB out of storage do I need to delete some videos from the group chats she in to gain storage ?

I'm a little unclear on the issue, however... If it's solely about WhatsApp: WhatsApp backs up to cloud storage, this would therefore likely be an iCloud Storage issue. https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201318

So where is this error being thrown from? Are you backing up to a computer? iCloud? Where's the error coming from?
