iPhone 12 Pro IPhone 12 Pro Silver Stainless Steel Coated or Not Coated?

Up to now, even with iPhone 11 Pro, silver stainless steel band have NOT been coated so I could polish it up with compound to remove light scratches.


Is this the case with iphone 12 pro silver stainless steel or is it PVD coated now so I can’t polish it anymore?


Anyone who bought the iPhone 12 pro Silver can tell us?

Still up in the air. One user posted that it isn’t simply because the polishing cloth turned black- but that doesn’t mean that’s it’s not coated.
