As per usual, I’ve searched for this with no good answer.
I just browsed the MacRumors forums for 10 minutes or so and my iPhone 12 is now hot to the touch. Safari is the only open app.
This is a recurring thing with very little use.
Anyone?
It happens. Wifi connection, LTE, or 5G? Usually nothing to worry about.
Check this out, it might be something to do with it >

If you're getting terrible battery life on your iPhone, it's not because of iOS.
Seeing a lot of people saying they've been having terrible battery life on iOS 14.5 and onwards on their iPhones, I was one of them. Turns out macrumors is having some issues on their site/forums which is draining peoples battery like no tomorrow, they are working on a fix. Decided not to use...forums.macrumors.com

I’d say they’re pretty much the same thing, if it’s not giving you any headaches, stick with AdGuard. Is the Mozilla app better or more efficient than AdGuard? I have that installed on both iPhone and iPad, no battery worries either. 🤚

My phone was warm as on Friday night and I lost massive battery life while on here.
Install this app, enable it in safari settings, content blockers and never look back, it’s awesome, getting crazy good battery life, phone ain’t getting warm either 👇

It‘s 7pm here and I’ve still got 59% battery life left, your shout drinks and blackjack if I ever come up to Vegas ome day. 😜😂
@LFC2020 this man deserves the utmost respect.Love a Yorkshire, covered in gravy mmm, mm.
good skills @LFC2020 just hope England have them too today. ⚽️🏴
iPhone isn’t getting hot anymore on this forum, and no drastic battery drop from being on here old boy. I say, give this man a hand. 👏🏼
I say let’s all go Vegas to celebrate 🍾
Same. It’s a pain. Going to stop coming here.My phone overheats (or gets really really warm) only when I browse the macrumors forums on safari on it. This has happened on a 12 Pro, SE 2 and now my 13…..does this happen to anyone else? I’m perplexed. It’s not my software because it has happened even when I set a phone up from new.
