How does everyone think the iPhone 12/12 Pro stock/demand situation will be this year?

For the past however years, it’s been easy to get an iPhone at midnight for those who want it. I figure it will likely be the same this year as day 1 demand for smartphones seems less and less every year.

That said, the pandemic seem to really mess with the production...but at the same time, it figures that Apple is likely taking this delay to ensure this year’s quantities are the same as other years?

Even with whats going on there’s no doubt it will sell like crazy. Certainly the smaller models.

A lot will depend what is available model wise first, if they do stagger the launch then the smaller ones will sell like hot-cakes immediately! Even to people who have no intention of actually keeping them in some cases, they will return them when the model they want becomes available.

If there are others like me, if the squared edge design was the only thing Apple announces on Tuesday, it'll be enough for me to upgrade. If I have to listen to one more keynote where they use their marketing manipulation language to describe the iPhone 6 form factor as "All-new" for the sixth year in a row, I'm going to lose it.

I’m guessing it will be like the Apple Watch. If there’s a new color, that will go first. I’m also guessing that they will all be released at the same time.

I am suspecting long delivery windows, just look at the Apple Watch and its not as popular as an iPhone. I am sure it will drop quickly to beginning of December windows
