There is some speculation that the iPhone 13 running in low power mode, that the 2 performance cores are completely shutdown and only the 4 efficiency cores are used. With only the 4 efficiency cores, the A15 still performs on par with the Snapdragon 888. The A15, running in low power mode, is only using about 3 watts of power as compared to the 888 using about 9 watts. This video shows how powerful the A15 is in low power mode and able to maintain a perfect 60 fps. The A15 is a beast of a mobile CPU.

I read an article saying that it is 65% more powerful than the top chip out today. Apple only stated 50% but I guess they under rated it or something.

I think they wanted to downplay the performance this year and focus more on battery life.

Scores in low power mode.

Sorry to bogart this thread, didn’t want to start a new one. I just have one question: Does anyone know if using Low Power Mode most of the time could be harmful to the battery or to the system (OS) itself over a period of time?
Thanks

You are fine using low power mode, it will be harmful to the battery or system.
