Not sure if it’s normal, but every time I take a photo, no night mode, no video, just a simple photo, it kills every app in the background.
This is on a brand new 13 Mini.

Makes sense, it has 2GBs more than the base models, I just can’t afford a Pro lol.I had the same issue on my 11 Pro. Every time I open the Camera app it almost always kills everything else and have reload apps back into RAM again. Don't see that happening on 13 Pro. Can pickup almost every app exactly where I left off. Even took a 30 sec 4k 60fps video and Safari is still intact. This would never be the case on my old 11 Pro and I'm glad I upgraded for this and the ProMotion alone. Constant reloading of the apps was driving me crazy on the 11 Pro.
Will have to see how long the honeymoon lasts this time.
The point is all iDevices running iOS 15 should have 6 GB of RAM now. Apple is (fortunately) improving iOS functionalities but more services means more RAM used. Sooner or later (iOS 16 ? 17 ?) we will experience the same thing also on the 13 Pro…Makes sense, it has 2GBs more than the base models, I just can’t afford a Pro lol.
