Launch day has arrived for all four iPhone 13 models in over 30 countries, marking the start of in-store availability of the devices.

iPhone-13-Pro-Apple-Store-Pickup.jpg

In countries such as the United States, Canada, and the UK, some iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Pro configurations are available for same-day pickup at select Apple Stores as of the time this story was published. Apple Store pickup is the best option for customers who did not pre-order an iPhone 13 model, as placing an order through Apple's online store today could result in a lengthy wait time of 4-6 weeks for delivery.

To check if an iPhone 13 model is available for Apple Store pickup, head to the iPhone 13 or iPhone 13 Pro order page, configure the iPhone as you would like it, and look for a "Pickup" option towards the bottom of the page. A link below the "Pickup" option leads to an iPhone Availability tool, which displays iPhone 13 models available for pickup at nearby Apple Stores based on the zip code or postal code that you enter.

Key features across all four iPhone 13 models include a faster A15 Bionic chip, camera improvements, longer battery life, and a smaller notch. The two Pro models also feature a ProMotion display with a variable refresh rate up to 120Hz, up to 1TB of storage, and additional camera features like Night mode portraits and ProRes video recording.

In the United States, starting prices are the same as they were for the iPhone 12 lineup, including $699 for the iPhone 13 mini, $799 for the iPhone 13, $999 for the iPhone 13 Pro, and $1,099 for the iPhone 13 Pro Max.

The sixth-generation iPad mini and ninth-generation iPad are also available for same-day pickup at select Apple Stores starting today.

In the Boston area there are no Pro Max units available at all. But there definitely seems to be some limited supply of smaller Pro models. I do not look at the regular model, I’m assuming they have even more of those.

I was able to do same day pick up of the pro @ Toronto Eaton Center today. I've been conflicted between the mini or the pro, ended up canceling the mini this morning and went with the pro.

I just picked up my 13 mini (I went with 512 gb) at my local Apple store. I was one of seven people in line and got in right when the store opened. They gave me $400 for my 12 mini. Everything went smoothly. Interestingly, the only cases Apple had were MagSafe. I can confirm that cases for the 12 mini don’t fit the 13, so I ended up with a MagSafe case. When I left the store, there was no one in line.

Do all Apple Stores have iPhone 13 Pro display models today? What about Best Buy?

I need to check them out. I gotta see this 120Hz ProMotion display in-person to decide if I want to upgrade.

:p

I still have to wait for mine, October 19-26 :(
Cancel it and pick it up today instead. I preordered 10mins too late but knew it will be available for in store pick up today. I canceled my order last week and just placed an in store pick up order 15mins ago.

If I cancel my order (still says Oct. 21-28) on iPhone Upgrade Program, and re-order through iPhone Upgrade Program for pick-up today, do they do another credit inquiry? I'm trying to avoid too many inquiries to my account. Thanks!

I have to wait until UPS drop off my phone around 7:00 PM instead of going to the store to pick it up this morning. Because, y'know, Apple somehow can't run a website correctly on pre-order day. Embarrassing how bad it was for the world's wealthiest company.

First world problems? How would it have been better, would you have liked it to be delivered a day earlier? or have UPS always deliver first, around 7 am, in your neighborhood?

There were close to 100 ppl in line at the Lincoln Rd Store in Miami, after making the line for hours Apple didn’t allowed us to go in to the store as walk ins, instead they made made us a reservation to go back later in the day to pick up, this is the worst iPhone launch ever. Now we have to make another line to pick up the iPhone.

I'm curious to see the sales numbers.
Apple hasn't reported sales numbers for many years now - they will be some ANALyst that will take a guess but for real numbers we will need to wait for the next quarterly earning report.

Dang just 400? For the 12 mini?
I could swear they still go for 500

Or have Apple's website not **** the bed at launch so I could've ordered an iPhone for pickup and not have my order sent twice - I just returned a number of accessories via fedex because their website messed up.

I cancelled my order that wasn't coming until October 18-25 and got a pick-up appointment for today at 2:30. How is that even right for all the people (like myself) who woke up before 5am and pre-ordered the phone??? Anyway, I'm extremely happy that I get it TODAY after-all! 😁

This is a ridiculous thing to whine about.
Really? So having my card billed twice for the accessories and having to drive to return them to fedex is a ridiculous thing to whine about?

If there website wasn't such a ******** - see the problems people had when trying to order with an Apple Card. I might've been able to go and pickup in store like I wanted to.

I placed my order within 30s of the Store App opening up in the UK. Delivery date quoted in the app 24th September.

The confirmation email later then specified 4th-11th October with this explanation "Your delivery date reflects no-contact safeguards put in place to protect employees, delivery partners and customers. We appreciate your patience."

An excuse of an excuse for a delay

Frustrating but a first world problem
