I just purchased my iPhone 13 mini from an Apple Premium Reseller here in Europe.

In order for an iPhone to be unlocked version, would it have to specifically be purchased from an original Apple Store?

I even asked one of the sales people and he told me no worries that the phone is unlocked and can be used on any carrier SIM card.

Just because I didn’t purchase this phone from an original Apple Store, does it mean that the phone is still an unlocked one?

I also payed the full amount value for the phone as well.

This Apple Premium Reseller had only Apple products.

Update >>> I went into settings and about and under Carrier Lock, it says No SIM Restrictions.

So, am I good?

Depends on the country you are in. In the US, you can buy it from Apple either unlocked or tied to a carrier but that only means it's setup for that particular carrier, not that it's locked. Apple's website even states all iPhones are unlocked.
Unless you bought your phone through a carrier or it's on payment plans that's when a phone is technically locked. In the US if you've paid off a device it's a law that carrier unlocks your phone either automatically or upon request within a certain amount of days paying off the phone.

Sound like you're good but the real test is simply putting in a SIM.

It’s paid off for sure with the full price of the phone. No contract, no plans. This was an Apple Premium Reseller shop. Only Apple products.

Thanks, like I mentioned, even the sales guy told me that it’s unlocked.

Reason me asking, that I thought all unlocked iPhones are only purchased from an original Apple Store and mine was purchased at an Apple Premium Reseller.

What does sold in full mean?
I’m guessing you mean that I paid the full price amount for the phone. In which I did.
