Has anyone gone from the 13 mini to the standard 13 ? What has been your experience? Thanks 🙏🏿!!!
Oh thanks for your response I am thinking about go to the regular 13 from the mini I am missing the screen real estate I came from an 11.Well, not what you’re asking but I came from a 13 pro to a 13 mini, and I had a regular 12 before (basically the same as the 13).
I think the regular size phone is great - if you don’t go pro, it’s not super heavy. With a Loopy case, I could still pretty much use mine one-handed. I mainly went to the mini because I know I’ll likely get a 14 pro if it has no notch, and I wanted to try out a small phone for a while. I’ve been enjoying the size and weight of the mini coming from a pro, but the non-pros, with the aluminum bodies, aren‘t really much heavier.
Honestly, I’d probably not go pro again if it weren’t for the fact that they’re gonna lose the notch - it has always bugged me (yes, I’m one of THOSE people).

I played around the 13 mini for a couple of days before moving to 13 earlier this year. I have large hands so I don’t get a good grip holding the mini. It doesn’t feel secure in my hand. Plus I had a lot of typo errors when texting so that’s one flaw I had with the mini.
Then of course you have the reduced battery life, small screen and the obvious differences between a big and a small phone.
If you asked me, 13 is a better experience than the mini.
Originally had a mini, went to the 13 for a few days, and immediately back to the 13 mini. I'm so used to the mini, I can't imagine using a bigger phone at this point. I love easily using my phone one-handed and being able to effortlessly reach all 4 corners of the phone with my thumb.
I have small hands and make a lot of typing errors with the mini, but I honestly made them with the pro as well - I just can’t seem to type well on the phone keyboards. If talk to text wasn’t so ridiculous, I’d likely never type a text again. ;-p
