I am a bit of a low vision user so I use the 3 finger zoom function on sometimes. I have found on the iPhone 13 Pro max that it’s very dificult to control the portion of the screen you want to see it is almost like it wants to jump around or as soon as you pull your 3 fingers away from sliding the screen to where you want it jumps to another spot. This is totally frustrating me.
Wondering if anyone who uses this feature or has payed around with it can confirm having the same issue and know if anything can be done.

Yep - it's like when it gets to a certain part of the screen, it wants to "snap" to the top/bottom/edge. Try enabling and using the Zoom Controller. It seems to work better and also lets you easily change the zoom level and other settings.

Hi, I am also visually impaired and use the zoom feature all the time, and yes, I am seeing the same problems as you. Its basically made my phone useless to me.

Does this work properly on other iPhone models running ios15? I have not been able to try that. Could it be an IOS 15 issue that affects all models, or only the 13 pro max?

I am very frustrated with Apple as they have championed accessibility features in the past, and they obvisously dont have people testing this stuff.

Lets hope this is fixed in 15.1 or whatever the next release is.

I see you "liked" my previous post. In it, I suggested using the Zoom Controller. When enabled, it shows a white circle on the screen that looks like a directional pad on a video game controller. Simply tap and hold that to smoothly drag around the screen. If you tap and release it, you get a menu of options.

Settings > Accessibility > Zoom > Zoom Controller > Show Controller [toggle ON]

Not fixed in 15.1 either.
